A traditional family home for a self-builder: Our homage to the Arts and Crafts movement with a roof sweeping down to the ground floor, bay window cutting through the eaves line and further careful detailing. Design: Nick The bespoke kitchen is a generous functional space for cooking, as well as being a social space for informal conversations and wine. The gallery landing wraps around the stairwell, with an open leisure space opening out above the front door One of the few detailed specifications form the clients was for a stair that divided at the mid-landing. With the gallery landing this has created a generous first floor space (there's still room for good sized bedrooms!). There is a reason that there are roof-lights to just one side of the vaulted ceiling, but you'll have to ask about that. Back to top
